When I initally rolled up to Crystal Pier this morning, I wasn't impressed with the wave conditions. I went for a run and debated about paddling out when I got back to my car. Let's just say that I was very happy I made that decision. Conditions were actually very fun. Waist high sets with some punch. Some waves were peeling nicely allowing for some long rides and a few turns. As the tide increased, it seemed to get a bit mushy but there were still some fun rides to be had.
